Since the scandal about counterfeit silicone implants, it was clear that the CE regulations for medical devices needed to be adapted. There were simply too many black sheep on the market. In the course of these regulatory changes, all manufacturers or distributors of such products are obliged to recertify them.

The network became active in 2018 in order to guarantee its members and other customers full safety even beyond the transition period. The transition period ends in 2020. The network’s new needle roller, called SPEEDY, is one of the few products in this market segment that has received a medical CE to date. We warn against dubious suppliers who offer their products cheaply via Internet platforms (e.g. Amazon, Alibaba ). Often these are of poor quality and also very often unsterile.

The new product has been developed by a well-known Korean manufacturer with years of experience in scooter manufacturing, produced for the network and CE certified.

We are now happy to present the fastest Micro Needling roller to you. The advantages of the old roller should be largely retained, the few disadvantages improved.

In contrast to rollers that attach the needles to a roller, the SPEEDY has discs made of hardened stainless steel from which the needles are lasered out in different lengths.

This method has two decisive advantages for the medical user:

Conventional rollers can only be rolled straight. In contrast, the SPEEDY can take curves, which is more in keeping with the human anatomy. 

The other advantage concerns the number of needles. Because a larger number of needles reduces the needling process in terms of time. This is why the name SPEEDY was chosen.

The SPEEDY is available in needle lengths of 0.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm. It is therefore fully functional for the important medical indications such as acne scars. The roller has 450 needles for the lengths 0.5 and 1.0 mm and 405 needles for the lengths 1.5 and 2.0 mm. This large number reduces the treatment time by more than half, which is advantageous for the patients treated and the doctors.

The somewhat unergonomic handpiece of the old NETZWERK scooter has been replaced by an ergonomic handle and can therefore be guided better and more fatigue-free.

Changing the head, although this would have been possible, was not necessary for hygienic reasons. We were able to compensate for this without economic disadvantages because the SPEEDY can be offered at an unbeatably lower price. It is a real disposable product.

It should also be mentioned that the needles of the roller receive an additional polygonal diamond cut, which reduces the painfulness of the treatment.
